Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Reside in or relocate to Houston, Texas.
• Minimum of 5 years in aviation flight operations.
• Valid ATP with EMB170 type rating.
• Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate prior to onboarding.
• English proficiency.
• Restricted FCC Radio Telephone Operators Permit.
• Valid automobile driver's license.
• Valid passport with no restrictions.
• Minimum 3000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours as Pilot in Command.
• Minimum 500 hours as PIC of multiengine aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Occidental safety culture while delivering high-level customer service.
• Ensures compliance with FARs, Aircraft Flight Manual and company procedures.
• Maintains aircraft knowledge, readiness, and documentation onboard.
• Conducts Pre- and Post-flight briefings with crewmembers.
• Plans flights, weather, fuel, and routing; files flight plans as needed.
• Coordinates with Flight Technician and maintenance for aircraft status.
• Monitors currency of pilot certificates, medicals, and recurrent training.
• Represents Occidental professionally with neat appearance and attitude.
• Leads with teamwork; supports department projects and safety initiatives.
• Upholds Occidental core values in all operations.
