Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible to set up the equipment to start production
  2. Feeds the machine with powder
  3. Checks to see capsules are released correctly
  4. Controls the weight variation
  5. Recuperates powder from vacuums
  6. Refills or supplies the machine with raw material powder and capsules as necessary
  7. Completes all the different batch record formats, based on the time established
  8. Keeps the work area clean

Qualifications:

  • High School degree
  • Detail oriented
  • Manufacturing or pharmaceutical/nutraceutical experience preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)

Physical Requirements: Requires frequently standing, bending, lifting, pushing or rolling 50- to 100 kg drums with powder with assistance. Able to use ladders.

Typical Work Conditions:
Person will be subject to food and nutritional bulk ingredients, which may affect the respiratory system or the skin, including an environment subject to odors, dust or airborne allergens.
Person will be working in a dry and low moisture environment.
