Job summary

The Smeal College of Business, Department of Accounting at Penn State University is seeking teaching assistants for BA 411, a capstone undergraduate course. TAs will lead a weekly lab section for about 50 students, teach business analysis practices, and grade coursework using CAPSIM simulations to apply theory to practice.

Teaching/ professional experience is preferred but not required; candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree and be available for one full academic year.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching or supervising student labs is preferred.
• Candidates should be able to explain business analysis concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with CAPSIM or similar business simulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a weekly lab section of ~50 students for BA 411.
• Instruct students in business analysis practices and methodologies.
• Grade all student coursework and provide feedback.
