Position Summary:

Ensure site-specific compliance with CAPS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities - Essential Duties:
  • Perform and review the Daily Compliance Verification Checklist, document results, and report to immediate supervisor.
  • Coordinate environmental monitoring, collect samples, and perform documentation such as personnel monitoring, air bioburden, surface bioburden, temperatures, and particle counts.
  • Conduct new staff training and perform sterility tests, aseptic technique qualifications, and media fill process validations.
  • Review batch records for non-sterile to sterile compounding, verify raw materials, labeling, final disposition, and test results.
  • Document non-compliance, submit samples for testing, and track vendor equipment calibration.
  • Enter test results into QA reports, support audits, and maintain quality records.
  • Participate in staff meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in a QC department within pharmaceutical or allied health sciences.
  • Desired: 2+ years in pharmacy preparation, Pharmacy Technician Certification.
Physical & Work Environment:

Requires sitting, hearing, handling, reaching, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs, and working in a controlled cleanroom environment with protective attire. Some travel may be required.

Compensation Range:

$22.76 - $28.45 per hour
