Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or J.D. preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in legislative affairs or public policy.
• Demonstrated success in congressional advocacy and policy development.
• Strong analytical, written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead multiple complex initiatives and build bipartisan relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of legislative policy positions and congressional engagement strategy.
• Serve as principal representative before Congress and maintain federal lobbyist registration.
• Develop strategies to increase visibility and influence on Capitol Hill.
• Collaborate with leadership to translate policy positions into actionable strategy.
• Anticipate legislative developments and provide timely guidance to members and staff.
• Maintain understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing investment advisers.
• Oversee liaison with outside public policy firm and manage advocacy programs.
