Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Capital Strategy Review Associates to evaluate and refine the strategic alignment of investment opportunities before they are introduced to capital partners. Analysts focus on capital structure, investor fit, and overall deal strategy, ensuring opportunities are positioned for success and meet network standards.

This is a certified contractor role, not employment. Associates operate independently and are activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Capital Strategy Review Associates will:

• Review deals to assess capital strategy, allocation fit, and expected outcomes
• Evaluate alignment between deal structure and investor objectives
• Work with Deal Scouts and Investment Analysts to flag strategic gaps or execution risks
• Earn transaction-based compensation for deals that successfully close
• Build a verified track record in strategic deal review within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in private markets, investment strategy, or portfolio evaluation, who understand how deal structure and strategy affect investor outcomes.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Capital Strategy Review Associates may:

• Analyze proposed deals for strategic alignment with investor priorities
• Recommend structural adjustments to improve deal feasibility and attractiveness
• Collaborate with Deal Scouts to refine deal presentations and positioning
• Highlight potential risks, capital misalignments, or execution challenges
• Facilitate handoff to analysts or capital partners for diligence and closing

Note: Associates are not responsible for sourcing deals or raising capital.

Based on approval, Associates may review deals across:

• Private equity and growth equity transactions
• Operating businesses and special situations
• Structured or opportunistic investments

Deal categories are approved based on experience and credibility in strategic review.

Compensation & Economics
