Job summary

A healthcare organization located in Edison, New Jersey is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing and procurement for capital equipment and services. Job description

📅 Contract: April 13, 2026 – June 30, 2026- With possible Extension

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and manage procurement of capital equipment and services
  • Analyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers (domestic & international)
  • Review and optimize GPO contracts
  • Prepare RFPs, bid summaries, and vendor performance analyses
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Legal, Biomed, and Finance
  • Track and report savings initiatives across departments
  • Support construction/expansion projects with equipment sourcing
  • Manage supplier relationships and stay updated on market offerings
  • Ensure contracts are executed and maintained properly
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business or related field preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant sourcing/procurement experience
  • Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) (or obtained within 12 months)
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel within the HMH network as needed
