✨ The Role: Capital Projects Purchasing Specialist

As a Capital Projects Purchasing Specialist, you’ll join a world-class team delivering mission-critical solutions that redefine what’s possible in AI, cloud, and enterprise-scale data center operations. Your work will directly support the growth of next-generation infrastructure and the modernization of Switch’s core operational systems.

You will play a key role in the design, configuration, and rollout of Oracle Fusion ERP — driving efficiency, cost control, and smarter purchasing decisions across capital construction projects.

What You’ll Do

• Support the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion SCM Procurement modules
• Manage end-to-end purchasing workflows for capital construction projects
• Utilize Oracle Fusion PPM and SCM for project cost tracking, requisitions, and supplier transactions
• Partner with Project Management, Engineering & Finance to align purchasing with project scope and budget
• Support contract administration and coordination with Legal and Compliance
• Monitor PO status, delivery schedules, and receiving progress
• Assist in testing, training materials, and user documentation for new ERP functionality
• Identify opportunities to optimize procurement performance and supplier efficiency

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in construction, capital projects, or large‑scale infrastructure
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM Procurement and PPM (or Oracle EBS equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and capital budgeting
• Experience supporting ERP/SCM system implementations, testing & user adoption
• Understanding of materials, equipment & vendor sourcing practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, or Construction Management
