Job summary

Covestro seeks a Project Manager to oversee capital investment projects across Northeast facilities. You will manage safety, cost, quality, and schedule from development through commissioning, coordinating internal teams and third-party EPCM services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering (or related engineering) and at least 5 years of project work experience in industrial settings, with a focus on delivering complex capital projects.

Qualifications

• Project experience in managing capital investment projects.
• Ability to manage safety, cost, quality and schedule to project goals.
• Experience with EPCM project delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital investment projects from FEL1 through commissioning/start-up.
• Align cost and schedule estimates to establish baselines and critical paths.
• Lead project team setup, defining roles and resources with PM and Steering Committee.
• Perform PM tasks: scope management, estimating, cost control, risk mitigation, reporting.
• Develop contracting and execution strategies with input from engineering, planning, procurement, and construction.
