Job summary

Vantage Oleochemicals, Inc. is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of major capital projects at our Gurnee, IL site.

You will translate business goals into project scope, manage resources, and coordinate across engineering, construction, and operations to meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role requires 5–10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or related process industries, with a strong track record in large-scale

Qualifications

• Technical: deep understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, process engineering, and facility/equipment validation.
• Project Management: scheduling, cost control, and risk management skills.
• Regulatory: OSHA, EPA, and safety and environmental compliance knowledge.
• Tools: experience with project management software, MS Office, and industry-specific engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end capital projects from planning through delivery.
• Translate business objectives into project goals and align resources.
• Manage cost, schedule, quality, and vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with chemical industry regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, maintenance, and operations teams.
• Report progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
