Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer II to develop and execute capital and expense projects for plant 65 in Andalusia, AL.

The role includes technical support for manufacturing, preparing specifications, and leading project management activities to meet safety, performance, and budget goals. Responsibilities include project development, administration, execution, and technical resource support.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate ideas verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in software programs (spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software, drawing, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Develops project concepts, budgets and timelines; presents proposals to leadership.
• Obtains approvals for expenditures and compiles bid packages.
• Oversees contractors on site; ensures safety and policy compliance; coordinates with Corporate Engineering.
• Provides troubleshooting and supports process improvements and asset management.
