Job summary

H.B. Fuller is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee capital projects across NA facilities, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery for production, safety, and quality improvements.

You will lead from concept to commissioning, develop scopes and budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced manufacturing solutions. The role offers domestic travel and growth within a global adhesives leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years' manufacturing experience with a proven track record.
• Experience managing multiple projects valued at $100k+.
• Cross-functional background in operations, engineering, sourcing, materials.
• Gantt chart experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically, with possible international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects through full lifecycle using Corporate Capex and Stage-Gate processes.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, within time and budget constraints.
• Prepare engineering specs, bid packages, and documentation per standards.
• Communicate progress and align with Operations and cross-functional teams.
• Review drawings, evaluate equipment options, engage suppliers, identify tech to enhance capabilities.
• Drive process improvements through automation opportunities and productivity gains.
• Lead design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new systems with safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage contractors and vendors, including training and startup activities.
