WECTEC Staffing Services in Juno Beach is seeking an Estimator II to prepare conceptual, preliminary, and definitive estimates across diverse project types. You will translate specs and drawings into accurate quantities, develop pricing models, and support the engineering–procurement–construction interface to optimize scope and cost.

The role emphasizes value engineering, risk assessment, and clear communication with leadership on estimate outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong grasp of construction materials, methods, and equipment.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce conceptual, preliminary, and definitive estimates tailored to project phase.
• Draft conceptual engineering and early construction plans to quantify scope.
• Partner with engineering, procurement, and construction to interpret specs and drawings.
• Develop pricing models; enhance toolsets, databases, and estimating methodologies.
• Lead value engineering to find cost efficiencies that protect requirements.
• Perform risk analyses and set contingencies for uncertainties.
• Brief senior management, stakeholders, and clients on estimate outcomes.
• Secure competitive supplier and contractor pricing to maximize value.
• Track costs and variances and rebaseline as scope or markets change.
• Operate in compliance with company policy, standards, and regulations.
