Job Summary & Requirements:

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) seeks a Capital Projects Coordinator with healthcare capital project experience to join our Capital Projects – Renewal team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement capital projects, including planning, design, and construction, such as MOH-funded projects, equipment replacements, and renovations.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and trades to meet project scope, timeline, and budget objectives.
• Support design and construction activities, applying technical judgment to meet hospital department requirements.
• Manage multiple initiatives related to moves, renovations, and projects without disrupting hospital operations through effective planning and prioritization.

Education:

• Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent
• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management (College or University level)

Experience:

• At least 2 years leading design and/or construction projects
• Experience in an acute healthcare environment preferred
• Knowledge of high-performance building systems, construction documentation, permits, and project financials
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
