Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. seeks a Construction Project Manager to join the PMCM Team in Albany, NY, covering projects across the Capital District and northern New York.

You will coordinate with clients, technical teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to keep capital projects moving safely and on track. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of construction management experience, plus strong communication and budget/schedule management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent experience/licensure.
• 3+ years construction management experience required, including PM exposure.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software; Deltek/VantagePoint knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and documentation from start to finish.
• Collaborate with clients, technical teams, market staff, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain clear communication.
• Prepare proposals, project plans, schedules, budgets, progress updates, and Quality Management Plans.
• Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, subcontractor documents, daily correspondence, invoices, and project files.
• Support project controls, document submittals, QA/QC, and closeout documentation.
• Conduct regular project progress meetings and provide timely updates to clients and management.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and subcontractor billings/payments.
• Support health and safety planning and ensure compliance with project requirements.
