Job summary

The University of South Carolina in Columbia is seeking a facilities financial liaison for capital project reporting. You will coordinate project establishment and closeout between university level and state level stakeholders, and ensure accurate cost reporting to support project budget management.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience.
• Preferred: experience with ERP (PeopleSoft) and Facilities CMMS.
• Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, financial management and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and process requisitions in the ERP for capital projects and assist with receipts.
• Support project leadership in budget planning and changes through approval workflows.
• Establish projects in CMMS and ERP; update budgets and coordinate with Capital Asset team.
• Reconcile project data in ERP and CMMS; prepare monthly reconciliation reports.
• Prepare and review project closeout documents and update project statuses.
• Reconcile and update monthly capital fund accounts and perform journal entries.
