Qualifications

  • High School Graduate.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field, Engineering or Architecture from an accredited college or university.
  • Master's Degree and 5+ years of experience in building design and/or construction preferred.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or Architect; PMI/ASHE/USGBC certifications are a plus.
  • Familiar with Prolog, Expedition, E-Builder or Primavera scheduling software.

Capital Project Manager

Position Summary / Career Interest: Capital Project Manager manages a diverse project team including internal clinical staff, operations support teams, external consultants, vendors and contractors. The Capital Project Manager will manage several projects simultaneously and assist in the development of project plans including goals, scope, schedule and budget. The Capital Project Manager is also responsible to incorporate input from all appropriate team members and consultants. The Capital Project Manager will be responsible for project budgets and will provide summaries and progress of project schedules and budgets.

  • Capable and competent to successfully manage difficult and highly complex construction projects.
  • Management of assigned projects will sometimes require working weekends and off-hours, as necessitated by the scope of work and project schedule.
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
Required Education and Experience
  • High School Graduate
  • Bachelors Degree Degree in Technical Field, Engineering or Architecture from an accredited College or University.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Master's Degree 5 or more years experience in building Design and/or Construction.
  • Healthcare-related construction management experience.
Preferred Licensure and Certification
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or Architect.
  • Project Management Institute Certification (PMI); American Society of Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) Fellow Certification or Senior Certification; U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Certification
Knowledge Requirements
  • Familiar with construction management software such as Prolog, Expedition, E-Builder or Primavera.
  • Proficient in the use of scheduling software such as Suretrak and Microsoft Project.
