Talent With Heart in Oskaloosa, IA is seeking a Capital Project Engineer to plan, support and execute capital projects from design through startup. You will focus on small- to mid-sized projects, oversee construction management and documentation, and ensure engineering standards and procedures are applied.

You will lead scope, schedule and budget development, coordinate commissioning and start-up plans, and manage equipment specification and bid packages.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in capital project engineering.
• Experience in chemical or food-related industries.
• Experience with commissioning and project start-ups.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development of capital project scope, schedule and budget while following project management deliverables and best practices.
• Coordinate staffing and development of construction, commissioning and start-up plans.
• Lead equipment specification and procurement and develop, review and award bid packages for equipment and labor.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Job Summary of the Capital Project Engineer: The Capital Project Engineer will plan, support, and execute capital project engineering deliverables for the company's facility. In this role, you will be primarily focused on small- to medium-sized capital projects from design to startup, while overseeing construction management and documentation. We seek a professional who will actively apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering scope.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Capital Project Engineer:
