Job summary

Interactive Resources in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Capital Project Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to support a manufacturing plant operation. You will manage entire capital projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.

Preferred candidates hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering and PMP certification, and are proficient in MS Project and AutoCAD, with strong knowledge of process safety and mechanical integrity

Job description

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of science in relatable engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 yrs of capital project engineering experience supporting a manufacturing plant operation
• Proficient with AutoCAD or comparable modeling software
• Experience working in MS Project or similar project-based applications software used for project and financial tracking
• Independently manage, with minimal supervision or technical support, the full lifecycle of a capital project

Preferred Education and Experience:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of experience managing capital projects in a heavy industrial continuous manufacturing operation
• Proficiency with MS Project
• Knowledgeable in Mechanical Integrity (MI) and/or Process Safety Mangement (PSM) ISO standards
• PMP certification or project management training
• Well versed with projects that include cross functional disciplines involving, electrical, mechanical, controls, and structural aspects to them.
