Job summary

Austincc seeks a qualified professional to manage and coordinate the construction documents review procedure with VDOT and other agencies in Virginia. The role covers non-capital building projects and the Capital Outlay Program, including design, bid documents, construction, and close-out.

Candidates should have strong analytical, communicative, and project management skills, with knowledge of Virginia building codes and capital outlay regulations.

Qualifications

• Skill in identifying complex problems, reviewing related information to develop, evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Skill in the use of computers and web based applications including AutoCAD.

How you will contribute:

• Construction Documents: Manage and coordinate the construction documents review procedure with VDOT and other agencies.
• Non-Capital Projects: Manage administrative, scheduling, operational, and programming activities for VDOT's non-capital building projects.
• Program Management: Manage administrative, budgeting, scheduling, operational and programming activities of VDOT's Capital Outlay Program. Manage administrative aspects of design, preparation of bid documents, construction and project close-out for VDOT's Capital Outlay Program.
