Job summary

TPG in San Francisco is seeking a Capital Markets analyst to join the Broker Dealer team. You’ll work with senior professionals to build capabilities, execute transactions, and support leverage financing, equity, and real assets across geographies.

You’ll help redevelop the BD tech stack with AI integration, manage deal processes, and help broaden client and lender relations. The role emphasizes self‑motivation, sharp organization, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of relevant investment banking experience or equivalent.
• Interest in AI and technology.
• Interest in Business Development and how Alternative Asset Managers are valued.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Strong organizational, process management skills, and attention to detail while handling multiple time-sensitive projects.
• Experience and desire to use AI language models (e.g. Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT).

Responsibilities

• Deal Pre‑Signing / Deal Execution: develop new deal leverage reads, construct financing processes and timelines, identify target lender/investor bases, lead outreach, provide product guidance, and assist with structuring financing documents.
• Business Development: redevelop BD tech stack with AI integration, apply AI across Cap Markets workflows, manage BD budgeting and pipelines, coordinate cross-platform capabilities, and refine processes for opportunistic transactions.
