Job summary

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Banking knowledge and professional certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong written work product and communication with value-added observations.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables with tight deadlines.
• Experience in financial services internal audit is a plus.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes is advantageous.
• Understanding of Data Analytics, reporting and regulatory standards is beneficial.
• Professional certifications such as CIA or CPA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support internal audit coverage of the Capital Markets U.S. business and related units.
• Perform walkthroughs, sampling, design assessments, and testing of key controls.
• Ensure audits follow RBC methodology and IIA Professional Practices Framework.
• Document findings and communicate with audit stakeholders.
• Support continuous monitoring activities and coordinate with other audit groups.
• Maintain working papers and evidence of findings.
