Job summary
Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Financial Analyst for Capital Markets in Washington, DC. The role focuses on supporting investment sales transactions with valuation analyses, pro forma modeling, and due diligence, requiring a background in finance or real estate and proficiency in Excel and Argus.
Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of CRE financial analysis experience and are prepared to work on-site with a dynamic team to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality underwriting for sales
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Finance, Real Estate, etc.) preferred or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years of commercial real estate financial analysis, valuation, underwriting, or related experience; internships and Capital Markets experience are a plus.
- Experience with Argus Enterprise and other discounted cash flow tools preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Execute financial analysis and modeling requests; prepare pro forma statements and DCF analyses.
- Analyze rent rolls and operating statements to determine feasibility and valuation.
- Review and summarize tenant leases and articulate issues/concerns clearly.
- Assist in due diligence collection and review for sales transactions and prepare underwriting materials.
- Develop analysis summaries identifying trends, outliers, and inconsistencies.
- Support preparation of final marketing materials and client presentations.
