Job summary

BMO Financial Group in the United States seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to develop detailed financial and economic analyses to support decision making for designated business portfolios.

You will partner with business leaders and Finance partners to monitor performance against plans, forecasts, and initiatives, deliver insights, and influence decisions that drive revenue growth, cost management, and capital optimization.

• 5-7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Supports/leads financial planning, forecasting and performance reviews using plan, forecast and actual financial information to develop annual plans and targets.
• Performs variance analyses and ad-hoc forward-looking analyses to understand business drivers and opportunities for product and profit improvement.
• Assists in developing methodologies and policies to enable analyses focused on financial dimensions (revenue, expense, balance sheet, capital).
• Determines financial impact of initiatives and incorporates into future forecasts/plans.
• Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support to the business.
