An elite, AmLaw 20 firm has an unposted need for an associate to join its Capital Markets practice in New York. This is an opportunity to join a busy team with a broad practice covering a variety of corporate securities and financing transactions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of capital markets/corporate securities/finance experience, including representing issuers and financial institutions in financing transactions including public offerings, private placements of equity, and equity linked and debt securities. Structured finance and derivatives experience is a plus.
• Excellent academic credentials and prior big firm experience

This is a broad capital markets practice offering not only a great variety of transactions and financing matters, but also spanning various industries, such as technology, telecomm, healthcare, financial institutions, REITS, and consumer finance. The group works both domestically and with foreign private issuers in securities offerings in the US and Europe.

This associate will work directly with one of the premier partners in the space, ranked as a leading lawyer in Capital Markets, Debt & Equity, and Structured products as well as additional Chambers recognition in both REITs and FinTech and Securities Financing. The partners and group emphasize training and mentorship and providing associates excellent substantive opportunity, leanly staffing matters and preparing associates to run deal by the mid-levels.
