Job summary
Watts & Associates is representing a highly regarded AM Law 50 firm seeking a Capital Markets Associate in San Francisco, CA. The role targets 2nd–8th year lawyers with substantive capital markets experience and a track record in drafting, negotiating and coordinating complex transactional work.
You will draft and negotiate principal and ancillary transaction documents, coordinate diligence, signing and closing, advise clients on structure and risk, and collaborate across offices and practices
Qualifications
- 2nd–8th year of relevant experience in Capital Markets.
- Substantive capital markets experience.
- Strong drafting, analytical, communication and matter-management skills.
- JD from a Top 50 U.S. law school and CA Bar admission required.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead core workstreams on sophisticated Capital Markets matters.
- Draft, review and negotiate principal and ancillary transaction documents.
- Coordinate diligence, signing and closing processes across deal teams.
- Advise clients on transaction structure, execution and risk allocation.
- Collaborate across practices and offices on complex, time-sensitive matters.
