Job summary

Best Egg, now part of Barclays, seeks a Capital Markets associate to support loan sales and securitization processes. You will partner with Capital Markets, treasury, and accounting to execute transactions and ensure accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2–4 years in consumer lending/finTech, strong Excel and SQL skills, and excellent communication as you coordinate with investors and cross-functional teams. Salary ranges reflect the market in the US.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in consumer lending, FinTech, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Strong analytical skillset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing securitization materials such as loan tapes, performance data, marketing presentations
• Support transaction activities such as facilitating documentation, working with rating agencies, banks and investors
• Respond to investor questions/inquiries
• Assist with ad hoc transactions for investors such as transfers or financings
• Prepare, reconcile and deliver monthly reporting for securitizations and/or whole loan investors
• Prepare monthly performance data for internal and external use
• Primary contact for investors regarding reporting
• Automate daily/weekly/monthly processes as much as possible
• Ad hoc support of other Capital Markets transactions (generating loan tapes, performance analysis, etc.)
