Job summary

VCL Law LLP is seeking a full-time junior to mid-level associate to join its capital market team in Tysons Corner, VA. The ideal candidate will have a JD degree from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law in New York, DC, or Virginia, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include performing legal due diligence and preparing SEC filings. The position offers a salary commensurate with experience, 401(k), health insurance, quarterly bonuses, and flexible working hours.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the New York, DC or Virginia bar.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal due diligence review on private and public companies.
• Prepare FINRA filings.
• Draft registration statements and respond to SEC comments.
• Prepare Nasdaq applications and respond to Nasdaq comments.
• Draft and review offering related documents.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
