Job summary

Lateral Link is assisting a repeat client, a nationally ranked capital markets group, in a search for a midlevel associate to sit in Washington, DC or Richmond. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience, with public securities offerings under the Securities Act of 1933, and experience as issuer’s or underwriter’s counsel.

Experience advising public companies under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 is also ideal.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in capital markets, including public securities offerings under the Securities Act of 1933
• Experience as issuer’s or underwriters’ counsel desirable
• Experience advising public companies under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 is ideal
• Excellent academic credentials

Job description

The associate may sit in the firm’s D.C. or Richmond office.

The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience, particularly public securities offerings pursuant to the Securities Act of 1933, whether as issuer’s or underwriters’ counsel, as well as general corporate and corporate governance matters.

Experience in advising public companies under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 is also ideal.
