Job summary

Clocktower Group, Santa Monica-based alternative asset management and advisory firm, seeks a Capital Formation professional for Clocktower Ventures to own fundraising and LP engagement. You will build systems, manage CRM/list, track touches, and drive next steps with LPs and prospects.

Based in our Santa Monica office, you will work closely with the Partner and team to market funds, coordinate meetings, prepare investor updates, and ensure content stays investor-ready.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fundraising, fund marketing, capital formation, or investor relations experience at a private equity, venture capital, or other alternative investment firm.
• Self-starter with a track record of execution.
• Systems builder with real follow-through.
• Intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent communicator.
• Relationship builder.
• CRM and systems mastery.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Based in Santa Monica, CA, or willing and able to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Fundraising process ownership from outreach through diligence, closing, and reporting.
• Due diligence & data room management with cross-team coordination.
• CRM, investor lists, pipelines, and trackers maintenance.
• Documentation, NDAs, side letter requests, and subscription documents tracking.
• Coordinate investor meetings and marketing from planning to follow-up.
• Draft, edit, and polish LP letters, investor updates, decks, and materials.
• Build and improve workflows, templates, and tools for marketing and fundraising.
• Collaborate with Partners, VC team, operations, marketing, and management.
