Helmerich & Payne in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Manager of Capital Equipment - Tubulars to lead the strategic management and lifecycle planning of specialized drilling gear across the Western Hemisphere fleet.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, HSE and field leadership to optimize asset performance, reduce costs, and drive reliability and safety in contract drilling operations. Travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced knowledge of land drilling rig equipment and FlexRig operations.
• Strong understanding of well control equipment and drilling fluids systems.
• Knowledge of asset management principles and lifecycle planning.
• Understanding of industry standards, regulations, and compliance.

• Ability to analyze operational and financial data for strategic decisions.
• Strong project management and program execution capabilities.
• Effective leadership and team-building skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead asset management strategies for specialized drilling equipment across the fleet.
• Develop lifecycle management plans, replacement strategies, and maintenance requirements.
• Manage capital equipment and facilitate asset transfers as needed.
• Monitor asset reliability, utilization, and maintenance costs to identify improvements.
• Develop standardization initiatives to improve fleet performance.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and HSE to resolve issues.
• Provide recommendations on equipment selection, deployment, upgrades, and replacement.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions for failures.
• Lead or support capital projects involving specialized drilling equipment.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for asset categories.
• Evaluate new tech, products, and vendors to improve safety and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OEM recommendations, and standards.
