Job summary

Dream Centers in Colorado Springs seeks a gifted, mission-driven leader to guide the Big Dream Early Learning capital campaign. You will help carry a bold vision to meet children and families at a critical moment with trauma-healing, relationship-centered learning and support.

The ideal candidate will build trust, tell the story, and engage local donors and foundations with warmth and credibility. The role requires 7+ years in fundraising, strong relationship networks in the Colorado Springs

Qualifications

• 7+ years in fundraising, advancement, major gifts, or capital campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, execution, and management of the Big Dream Early Learning capital campaign.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive campaign plan with goals, timelines, donor segments, and stewardship practices.
• Clarify campaign priorities, funding needs, messaging, and donor engagement opportunities with Dream Centers leadership.
• Track progress and provide updates to executive leadership, the board, and campaign committees.
• Identify risks or opportunities and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Manage and support campaign committees and subcommittees, ensuring clear goals and timelines.
• Coordinate committee meetings, agendas, materials, and follow-ups; keep leaders engaged and moving forward.
• Build and manage a portfolio of major gift prospects; prepare donor briefings and proposals.
• Support CEO and leadership in donor meetings and asks; ensure thoughtful, relational donor interactions.
• Tell the story of Big Dream Early Learning; translate needs into compelling generosity opportunities.
• Maintain donor records, pledge documentation, and campaign dashboards; ensure confidential, donor-centered activity.
