Hours: Full-time – 35 Hours

Eligibility: Only candidates who are permanent in the Staff Analyst title or reachable on the Open-Competitive List (Exam #9008) may apply. Please include a copy of your Notice of Result card or indicate if you are already permanent in the title. Non-eligible candidates will not be considered.
Position Overview: The NYC Department of Design & Construction, Finance & Procurement Division, seeks a Capital Budget Analyst (CBA) to manage financial aspects of the BBJ. Responsibilities include managing capital and expense budgets, developing submissions to OMB, tracking encumbrances, payments, and change orders, and supporting fiscal planning and modifications.
Key Duties:
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. International applicants are responsible for visa requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
Additional experience may qualify for higher assignment levels.
Preferred Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, flexibility, and experience with NYC capital budgeting and FMS systems are advantageous.
Additional Notes: Position open to qualified persons with disabilities under the 55-a Program. Consideration for federal and state loan forgiveness programs is available. NYC residency is generally required within 90 days, with some exceptions.
