Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Lead Procurement Manager for a hybrid role based out of Allentown, PA. Lead procurement for large-scale pharmaceutical CAPEX construction projects valued at $1B+, managing EPCM contracts and supplier negotiations.

You will coordinate with construction, engineering, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery, compliance, and cost control, while maintaining risk management and project controls across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering or a related field.
• 10 years relevant experience in procurement for capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for large-scale pharmaceutical CAPEX construction projects $1B+, ensuring EPCM contracts meet business objectives.
• Lead contract negotiations with GC, subcontractors, A&E firms, and suppliers; ensure alignment.
• Ensure all technical, financial, and legal aspects of procurement are reviewed before contract execution.
• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and installation of capital equipment with construction management.
• Monitor EPCM agreements to align with deliverables and milestones.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage supplier and construction contracts for cost efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Review change orders per client approval process.
• Track progress payments, milestones, and warranties for major contracts.
