Job summary

Corning is seeking a senior Project Portfolio Manager to lead engineering initiatives at the Newton Cable Plant. You will drive capacity expansion, cost reduction, and safety improvements through matrixed teams across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.

The role requires BS Engineering with at least 7 years of multi-stage project experience in manufacturing. Strong planning, Six Sigma and Planview skills are preferred, with a focus on delivering on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing multi-stage projects and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering project portfolios to improve performance, capacity, cost and safety.
• Drive cross-functional execution with plant, division, and partner teams.
• Define scope, milestones, metrics, and deliverables aligned to business objectives.
• Manage Capex Projects portfolio and ARs; report progress to leadership.
• Develop mitigation plans and escalation strategies to avoid delays.
