Job summary

RHI Magnesita is seeking a Project Manager to lead CapEx programs for North American operations. You will serve as a key link between Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement and external partners to ensure safe, on‑time, within‑budget project delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering, with 5+ years in industrial engineering and project management, plus a proven record of managing projects above $500K.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Minimum 5 years of project management, project engineering, or process engineering experience.
• Proven success managing projects over $500K.
• Minimum 5 years leading, developing, and coaching teams.
• Strong experience with data analysis, project/process management, and risk management.
• Experience developing and managing KPIs.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate, and lead across functions.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end project performance, supporting operations, and ensuring all work complies with high safety standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement and external partners to deliver on time and within budget.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Identify and coordinate engineering interfaces to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget, including forecasting and change control.
• Develop and maintain a Management of Change system and comprehensive project documentation.
• Communicate updates to teams and stakeholders and support maintenance through preventive planning.
