Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Sterile Processing Technician for a 13-week assignment in Cape Cod, MA. The role is 40 hours per week with an evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and a travel employment type.

The position starts 10/13/2026 and offers week-by-week gross pay opportunities, with a focus on instrument cleaning, sterilization, and distribution to support safe surgical care.

Qualifications

• Current Sterile Processing Certification (SPD) required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent Sterile Processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and distribution processes.
• Experience working with surgical instrumentation and sterile processing equipment.
• Understanding of infection prevention standards and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, sterilization, and safety standards.
• Perform quality checks to verify instrument functionality and completeness.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment testing.
• Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and procedural teams to meet operational needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate supply availability.
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and communicate concerns promptly.
• Follow facility policies and industry best practices to ensure patient safety.
