Qualifications

• 3+ years in data science, capacity planning, forecasting, or related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience analyzing large datasets.
• Ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured analytical approaches.
• Experience building dashboards, metrics, models, or data products for decisions.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration across engineering, finance, operations, procurement, or product teams.
• Experience building scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms with governance and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-range capacity forecasts for GPUs, CPUs, storage, and infrastructure resources.
• Build demand forecasting models using historical utilization, growth, roadmaps, and seasonality.
• Translate workload forecasts into infrastructure requirements and capacity plans.
• Develop models for utilization, capacity efficiency, and stranded capacity.
• Create unit-economics models linking capacity, performance, utilization, and cost.
• Evaluate trade-offs across on-demand, reserved, spot, and owned capacity.
• Develop scenario analyses to understand impact of demand uncertainty and migrations.
• Automate capacity planning and reporting using data pipelines and dashboards.
• Partner with engineering, finance, and procurement to support investment decisions.
• Communicate findings to engineering and business leaders.
