Job summary

Gradian is seeking a SIOP Capacity Planner to balance demand with manufacturing and supply chain capabilities across multiple plants in Minnesota. You will align capacity, labor, and inventory with forecasts and lead capacity reviews to mitigate risks and drive profitable growth.

In this role, you will model demand scenarios, coordinate production allocations, and develop dashboards to monitor capacity and performance. A strong analytical mindset and ERP/MRP experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing planning or operations planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain capacity plans for SIOP across facilities.
  • Align demand forecasts with capacity, labor, and inventory.
  • Identify gaps and capacity constraints; propose actions.
  • Lead monthly capacity reviews with cross-functional teams.
  • Model scenarios to evaluate impacts on capacity and costs.
  • Coordinate production allocation across plants to maximize utilization.
  • Monitor KPIs: capacity utilization, forecast accuracy, inventory, on-time delivery.
  • Support new product introductions and footprint optimization.
  • Create dashboards to visualize capacity risks and trends.
