Hill Bros Logistics is accepting applications for future Capacity Coordinator openings at both our Omaha and Lincoln locations—including roles supporting our dry van, reefer, and bulk freight divisions.

What does a Capacity Coordinator do?

  • Develop and maintain relationships with trucking carriers
  • Schedule freight, negotiate rates, and ensure on-time service
  • Use TMS and other tools to coordinate pickups and deliveries
  • Track and trace shipments using our transportation systems
  • Assist with carrier onboarding, rate discussions, and market research
  • Support customer needs through reliable execution and strong communication
  • Learn the ins and outs of bulk, dry van, or reefer freight—depending on business needs or office location
Requirements

Who should apply?

  • Early-career professionals looking to grow in logistics
  • Individuals with experience in fast-paced environments—busy restaurants, bars, warehouses, dispatch, call centers, retail, military service, or college athletics
  • Strong communicators who can multitask, shift priorities, and stay cool under pressure, with a strong team mindset
  • People who love building relationships and solving real-world problems
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and learning new systems
  • Prior logistics experience is a bonus—not required

Nice to Haves (But Not Required):

  • Experience with dispatch, customer service, or logistics
  • Exposure to TMS platforms (TMW a plus)
  • Interest in sales, supply chain, or freight brokerage
