Job summary

Rockwell Automation’s Capabilities and Innovation Internship in Milwaukee, WI or Mayfield Heights, OH offers hands-on experience in engineering, data analysis, and customer-centric problem solving.

As an intern you will assist with scripting for automation or data handling in Quickbase or Asset 360, build scripts for BOM generation, perform engineering support tasks, and help document and train others. This role provides exposure to diverse teams and real-world projects within Lifecycle Services.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year or advanced engineering degree program at an accredited university.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.
• GPA 3.0 or above with a Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering major in progress.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scripting tasks for automation or data handling in tools like Quickbase or Asset 360.
• Build or maintain scripts for BOM generation or asset tracking.
• Perform engineering support tasks.
• Assist in setting up environments or validating configurations for Industrial data center test beds.
• Update internal documentation, onboarding guides, or training materials.
• Input or validate new BOMs and asset records.
