Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead capabilities development, coordinating with customer leadership and DAC TTO teams on analytics development and requirements across multiple platforms such as GhostMachine and QTA.

The role requires strong communication, extensive SE experience, and the ability to drive plans from concept through integration across multiple groups. On-site position located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Qualifications

• 14 years of Systems Engineer experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• BS degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Five additional years may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Strong software development, requirements management, and project management skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple groups and coordinate efforts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, COOs, and high-level architectures to develop system requirements.
• Lead design and development activities based on requirements.
• Guide users in formulating requirements and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Develop system design documentation and architecture deliverables.
• Coordinate preparation of plans, test plans, and integration activities.
• Interact with Government regarding SE considerations and issues.
• Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
• Contribute to System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Interface Control Documents.
• Manage requirements to ensure delivery of production systems aligned with DoDAF/SOA.
• Lead the allocation of requirements to hardware, software, and personnel.
