Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems seeks a Capabilities Development Specialist (CDS) to join a high-end cyber team at Fort Meade, MD. You will craft offense/defense capabilities, analyze advanced malware, and design hardware to support signals intelligence missions.

Strong software/hardware reverse engineering skills are required. Ideal candidates have CS/Engineering degrees with relevant experience, including vulnerability analysis, kernel work, and embedded systems development.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields with core CS foundations.
• Experience in engineering hardware or software lifecycle, vulnerability analysis, pentesting, or forensics.
• Military training in JCAC or equivalent counted towards experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop exploitation capabilities and analytics for foreign target network collection.
• Design hardware components and systems to advance signals intelligence missions.
• Analyze sophisticated malware and contribute to capabilities development.
