Summary

The purpose of this position is to cost-effectively drive non-media lead generation and local awareness through local Direct Marketing Programs (Canvassing) while managing to a set spend and lead budget.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manages a team of Direct Marketing Associates (canvassers) with a direct hands-on approach, provides motivation and coaching to help the team reach daily, weekly and monthly goals.
  • Recruits, hires, and trains Direct Marketing Associates (DMA) through cost-effective recruiting tools, including partnership with Talent Acquisition when appropriate.
  • Oversees all DMA field activities, including in-field and office training, role playing, daily meetings, field supervision, and motivating team members.
  • Creates and develops the culture of the local Proximity Marketing team, through personal role modeling and a heavy focus on role playing company methodology.
  • Monitors and coaches every team member in the field to ensure adherence to proper procedures, scripts, and customer service guidelines.
  • Administrative tasks include coordinating canvass logistics with mapping and tracking using company software and apps, permit logistics, script and flyer maintenance, and verifying/validating leads gathered during each shift.
  • Provides information to managers and subordinates on neighborhoods and cities where Renewal by Andersen’s products and services can be demonstrated to generate qualified leads and appointments.
  • Direction of a team of Direct Marketing Associates.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). A college degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is acceptable.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within canvassing or face-to-face marketing programs. Proven ability to develop, motivate, and lead high-performing teams to achieve targets.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional training programs, effectively coach and mentor individuals, and inspire teams to achieve goals. Strong coaching skills to empower and develop team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions. Ability to analyze market trends, audience insights, and performance data to develop and implement marketing strategies.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills; ability to manage budgets and maximize efficiency.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record is mandatory.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to walk 3-5 miles per day
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day

Pay is based on factors including experience, education, location, and certifications. The recruiter can share the specific compensation during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $50,904-$78,900 plus incentives.

Profit Sharing

In 2025 Andersen has a profit-sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid quarterly, tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
