Job summary

Vettedlance is seeking a meticulous Cantonese transcriptionist to convert spoken Cantonese into precise text for speech AI training. You will transcribe new recordings and thoroughly correct machine drafts so every word, speaker and pause is right.

Native Cantonese with good written English and sharp listening across dialects are essential. This is a remote, part-time hourly contract (10–40 hrs/week) with weekly pay in USD.

Qualifications

• Native or professional-level Cantonese with good written English.
• Sharp listening across accents and dialects.
• High accuracy on repetitive, detail-heavy work.
• Prior transcription, subtitling or language QA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe Cantonese audio/video word-for-word using the project style guide.
• Correct errors in machine-generated or earlier human transcripts.
• Mark speakers, unclear passages, noise and unusable clips.
• Add short notes on dialect, accent or context when asked.
