Job summary

A global interpreting services provider is seeking experienced interpreters for a fully remote role in California. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Cantonese with at least one year of interpreting experience. Responsibilities include professionally answering calls, understanding industry-specific terminology, and reporting to team leaders. This position offers full-time or part-time schedules with monthly payments and flexible rates based on minutes or fixed amounts.

Qualifications

• Bilingual or native level of English and Cantonese required.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience is desirable.
• Strong communication, listening, and memory retention skills.

Responsibilities

• Professionally answer calls according to the Interpreters code of conduct.
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare.
• Communicate and report to your team leader effectively.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience (Desirable).
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures.
• High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
