Job summary

Mauna Lani, Auberge Collection in Hawaii seeks a CanoeHouse Back Server (Bussers) to support the fine dining experience at CanoeHouse. You will clear tables, assist servers, and help deliver meals and drinks to guests in a fast-paced, luxury setting.

Training is provided, and a positive attitude with politeness and eagerness to learn is valued. Prior back server experience in luxury dining is preferred for this casual role.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred.
• One year of public contact experience.
• TB Clearance and Food Handler Certificate required.
• CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred.
• Previous back server experience in a fine dining/luxury setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep CanoeHouse dining room clean and ready for guests by clearing tables as needed.
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests.
• Work swiftly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to provide luxury guest experiences.

Job Description

The base salary for this position is $16.00 hourly.

Our CanoeHouse Back Servers (Bussers) keep our flagship, fine dining restaurant, CanoeHouse, running smoothly by ensuring that the restaurant is clean and ready for our guests. They move swiftly throughout the dining room, clearing tables when needed and helping out our servers in delivering food and beverages to guests. Training is provided, and from time to time, they're prepared to do some heavy lifting, and when needed, they provide our guests with hospitality that will make their day just a little bit brighter. A successful candidate will work well in a fast-paced and high-volume work environment and provide consistent, luxury guest experiences. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is polite, outgoing, and eager to learn. Previous back server experience in a fine dining/luxury setting is preferred. This is a casual position.

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• High school education preferred.
• One year of public contact experience.
