Job summary

INX International Ink Co. in the United States is seeking a Canning Line Operator to maintain and operate the canning line equipment. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

We will train the right candidate on the job and on TPM activities. As a Canning Line Operator, you will be responsible for the canning operation, transporting material to the canning line press-out, following instructions, filling cans, and preparing containers and labels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the canning operation.
• Transporting material to the canning line press-out.
• Following proper instructions when operating the canning machine.
• Filling cans as instructed on process orders.
• Transporting the tub to the tub washer for cleaning when canning is completed.
• Preparing containers and labels.
