Job summary

Midwest Health Inc in Wichita, KS is seeking a Production Line Operator to support our canning line operations. You will ensure cans are produced in line with SOPs, maintain cleanliness and safety, and coordinate with packaging teams to meet quality standards.

You will regularly inspect equipment, perform scheduled maintenance, keep accurate records, and participate in safety programs to uphold plant safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in similar duties.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Capable of lifting 40 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Must wear personal protective equipment.
• Participates actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Regular worksite attendance.
• Can products according to standard operating procedures
• Perform tasks with focus towards organization, sanitation, and safety
• Ensure product is of highest standards before and after packaging
• Run routine inspections on equipment to ensure quality
• Classification of Instructional Programs for all equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Perform scheduled maintenance of the canning line
• Effectively work with and coordinate with packaging team
• Accurately keep and maintain records pertaining to task
• Maintain clean work environment
• Additional duties as required
