Job summary

The candidate should have 2 years of similar experience, be detail oriented, able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand/walk/bend repeatedly, and actively participate in plant safety initiatives and training sessions.

Position Summary:

• This position reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for the proper operations of our canning line(s)
• Canning product for our valued customers in a timely manner while meetingsafety and quality food codes and procedures

Essential Job Functions:

• Regular worksite attendance.
• Can products according to standard operating procedures
• Perform tasks with focus towards organization, sanitation, and safety
• Ensure product is of highest standards before and after packaging
• Run routine inspections on equipment to ensure quality
• Classification of Instructional Programs for all equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Perform scheduled maintenance of the canning line
• Effectively work with and coordinate with packaging team
• Accurately keep and maintain records pertaining to task
• Maintain clean work environment
• Additional duties as required

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• This position requires 2 years of experience in similar duties
• Detail orientated person required for this position
• Ability to complete tasks in timely manner
• Capable of lifting 40 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Must always wear personal protective equipment
• Participates actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions
